In September, my sister and I made a pact to explore new dining spots as our usual choices were becoming a bit monotonous. That's how we ended up at Goodman Pub and Kitchen in Harbour-front. This restaurant had caught our eye previously, as we frequently passed by in the area. Luckily, we arrived during a quiet period, allowing us to have the place almost entirely to ourselves. We were promptly seated and warmly welcomed by a friendly waiter. As we waited for our food, we savoured the picturesque waterfront view.

Our food arrived after a short wait. I selected the Southern Fried Chicken Sandwich, whereas my sister went for the Vegan Vermicelli Noodles. We both decided to accompany our meals with french fries. Both dishes were scrumptious! The chicken sandwich was a delight, cooked to perfection with tender and flavorful chicken. The noodles my sister ordered were equally tasty and packed with flavor. Overall 8/10
Next on the restaurant tour is a charming café called Michel's Bakery Café situated in Yorkdale mall. This establishment serves a variety of pastries, as well as a delightful selection of soups, salads, and sandwiches.
Upon arriving early in the morning, my sister and I decided to indulge in some pastries and coffee. Despite not typically having sweets for breakfast, I chose to sample the blueberry cheese pastry, which was `delicious.

However, I must mention that I didn't particularly enjoy the coffee. Overall 7/10
Last on the list is Canadian based chain named Earls Kitchen + Bar. We ended up spent most of the day at the mall so we grabbed dinner at the Yorkdale location.
Upon our arrival, we were welcomed at the entrance by two hosts, checked in, and then escorted to our table. The atmosphere felt both sophisticated and relaxed, if that makes sense. There was a light crowd so the place was defiantly buzzing and our server was really lovely.
My sister was in the mood for pizza so she order the Vegan Kale Mushroom Pizza and I went with the Pulled Chicken Clubhouse.
Earls was definitely an enjoyable experience with a lovely ambiance, making it a perfect option for a fun day out with the girls or a romantic date night. The food was good, but I found it slightly salty, and despite ordering my meal without bacon, it was served with bacon. I had to send it back to the kitchen, which wasn't a major issue since it was easy to notice and I had'nt taken a bite. However, it's important to be vigilant if you have strict dietary restrictions. Overall 6/10
That wraps up my little food tour for the month of September! As we bid farewell to September, let's reflect on the memories created during our gastronomic adventures. Whether it was discovering a hidden gem of a restaurant or mastering a complex recipe, each moment has added a flavorful chapter to our food journey.
I hope you have enjoyed this food tour as much as I have. Until next time, happy eating!
